To have a new jewelry appraisal completed we require an appointment be made with one of our appraisers. The appointment time can range depending on how many items you need appraised, how long they may need to clean thoroughly, and how ornate those pieces are that need to be reviewed and evaluated for value.
What is the pricing for a new appraisal and for future updates to appraisals?
Our price per individual items start at $99 for a written insurance appraisal.
Updates on any appraisals we have completed for you in the past will be done at no charge to you!
What is the process for getting my appraisals updated?
Updating previously appraised items in our store requires cleaning and inspecting the items in person to make sure they are healthy and in insurable condition. After we make sure they are in good health, we check to see if any of your personal information has changed (i.e. address, legal name, etc.) before we move on to establish an accurate current market value for insurance replacement value.
How often should you get your appraisals updated?
We recommend that you get your appraisals updated once a year or once every two years. With market fluctuation we want to do all we can to keep your insurance coverage pricing accurate and make sure your jewelry is always covered.
